Public Note:
gills yellowing with age but spores clearly white. Cap pellicle gelatinous and separable. Gill tissue not gelatinous. With strigose cap at point of attachment. Pseudostipitate. Spores 6.5x4um. Cap with pilocystidia. Gill colour places this nearest to nothofaginea but that without stipe and orbicular rather than spathulate, although clearly a range of forms here.
