Public Note:
with dark red gill edge and juice. Fruitbody drying black. Spores cylindrical, 12x6um amyloid, 2&4-spored, cap with oliiferous hyphae. Ocurrence of this in grass, rather than on wood is confusing. The stem, black when dried, and micro features are characteristic of Galactopus, but otherwise similar ura/mariae etc. Cap cells not ornamented, cheilocystidia fusiform, pleurocystidia similar. With short caulocystidia near stem apex, clamps not obvious. Must be M. sanguinolenta.
