Public Note:
smell & taste mealy, slightly bitter, and with slight anasthetic effect on tongue? With brown tomentum near point of attachment, not strigose in fascicles. Gills not close. Spores strongly amyloid 6x5um, cap hyphae weakly amyloid. Dimitic but no oleiferous hyphae visible. Petersen & Hughes to L. pulvinulus purely on basis of spore size, otherwise castoreus.
