Specimen notes
Public Note:
litter glued to cap so was once sticky. Very slight radish smell. Taste bitter. Stipe scurfy and cap centre darker than perimeter but not really reddish. Spores 9.5 x 6um, 10 x 7with plage. Soop keys to mediorufum but key colour character doesn't seem constant in pics of this taxon, and it is described as mild tasting. All other characters fit with Karl's description but there isn't a lot to go on - as with most Hebelomas. Given the location in native forest I'll file this here for the moment. To Henry
