Public Note:
Under Kanuka, Kauri, tanekaha etc., singly; pileus: 7.5 cm diam. depressed, pure white at first, later with yellowish tinge esp. in centre. A moist surface in the centre cracking into patches towards the margin, margin striate and with transverse ridges. Flesh thin, white, homogeneous with stipe. Brown stains on surface of cap and stipe in age; stipe: 14 mm x 5.5 cm. White, dull surface with typical Russula dimples. Flesh white, with a few holes; gills: adnexed, shallow, creamy white, all long.
