cap with long brown hairs but no veilar remnants or setules (BFF2 section pseudocoprinus, stirps auricomus). Hairs 400um x 5um, thick walled. Spores 11.6 x 8.5um. This sits very comfortably within C. auricomus of BFF2 and FAN6. New record for New Zealand. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010
