Specimen notes
Public Note:
1 fruitbody in collection!. Umbilicate cap and very white gills. No tissue amyloid or dextrinoid, clamped, cap a cutis of glassy walled hyphae, unornamented but sometimes broad and with wrinkled surface. 4-spored, Cheilo and pleuro-cystidia thin-walled 60 x 20um, cylindrical, sometimes swollen at apex, spores inamyloid, thin-walled, collapsing, 5.7-7(6.2) SD0.3 n=19 x 3.3-4.1(3.8) SD0.2 um,finely punctate, ellipsoid. A Gammundia. Are any known for the southern hemisphere (and why called Gammundia if not?). Doesn't fir any of northern hemispher taxa. Close to sequences of Fayodia leucophylla but morphologically different. Description is consistent with Gamundia striatula. Clearly closely related to Conchomyces.12355
