Public Note:
taste and smell mealy. Cuticle an ixocutis. Spores smooth, inamyloid, not dextrinoid, pip-shaped length=9.0–11.3µm (µ=10.0, σ=0.60), width=4.9–5.9µm (µ=5.4, σ=0.30), Q=1.6–2.1µm (µ=1.84, σ=0.14), n=10. Pleurocystidia absent, cheilocystidia present, cylindrical vesiculose with elongate flexuose neck. Spores partially cyanophilous, not metachromatic, basidia not siderophilous. But not really a clitocybe with these cystidia. sp. nov. Isolated position but next to L. epia, type of the genus and possibly synonymous with L. cycadicola.
