DNA needed to determine if Chinese sequences of type in middle of Zangia are correct. or whether Bresinsky's near F. violaceipora is correct (and Horak's synonymy in Mycogeography paper is correct), or is a misidentification. Note also var. macrospora. with spores to 25um(av20) rather than 19(av 16). Here spores length=13.8–16.2µm (µ=15.1, σ=0.62), width=4.1–5.6µm (µ=5.0, σ=0.41), Q=2.7–3.5µm (µ=3.04, σ=0.23), n=20
