Specimen notes
Public Note:
Cultures were grown from two different apothecia from this specimen; based on ITS sequences they represent different (but closely related) species of Lachnum. A close examination of the dried specimen, and microscopic examination of several apothecia, showed no obvious second species. Both macroscopically and microscopically the apothecia matched PDD 93910.
