Specimen notes
Public Note:
A single frb, without rhizoids, with obvious eccentric stipe. Dried quite orange. The pileipellis has abundant clamps, unornamented, no cystidia. This is not the same as Stevenson's type and is not a Pleurocollybia. Spores length=3.7–4.6µm (µ=4.0, σ=0.28), width=2.9–3.6µm (µ=3.1, σ=0.21), Q=1.1–1.5µm (µ=1.29, σ=0.13), n=11. Variable and so I assume 2 & 4 spored. No cystidia. However, I am not satisfied it either Rhizocybe albida or our Ossicaulis, or a Lactocollybia The spores are less elongate. I will leave it under this name for the moment but it is not correct.
