Public Note:
19th Fungal Foray of New Zealand Annotation J. Fournier 12/2008: Typical except for deviating pigments in KOH. The wrinkled stromal surface and slightly prominent perithecia occur in both collections. Annotation M. Stadler 01/2009: Confirmed. HPLC profile does not differ in any way from typical D. novae-zelandiae.
Public Note:
Stromal interior with conspicuous lacunose paler bands. Pigments first Fawn, getting a vinaceous hue with time, ascospores 18.5-21 x 11.5-12.5, blackish, equilateral with broadly rounded ends, germ slit spore-length, perispore KOH-. Ascal apical ring I+, 5 x 1.5-1.7 µm.
