Public Note:
Stipe without glandulae and without ring, cap very slimy. McNabb mentions association with 2 & 3 needle pine but not 5 needle pine like this. McNabb mentions NZ S. brevipes have red stem base. These are mature specimens and presumable lost some of cap colour with age. Material not returned from loan - lost.
