Public Note:
material attacked by penicillium. Cap with brown tomentum. Cheilocystidia not obvious and ones shown don't agree with fuscovelutinus and agree with Egon's description of C. fulfifibrillosus var mersitocystis. Spores globose, finely verucose, 5-6.5(5.6). Fruitbody smaller and with darker cap than fuscovelutinus, clamps on cap hyphae of latter also more prominent, otherwise similar. Needs reinstating on NZ list. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010. To EH 2012
