Specimen notes
Public Note:
cap with fine adpressed brown squamules. Schaeffer negative. Ring prominent and hanging. Flesh reddening. Smell 'bisporus' like. KOH negative. Macroscopically gills with white edge but no cheilocystidia visible. No germ-pore. Spores 5 x 3um. Stem not scurfy on photo but adjacent collection did have. Keys to cuppreobrunneus but spores a bit small for this. But then previous collection from here had small spores too - 9078. See also jac8834, 8920 and zt9371.
