Public Note:
taste mild. All fruitbody bruising blue-green on handling. NH4OH no effect. KOH orange on cap flesh. Cap vinaceous buff, cracking faintly and then showing pale rose. Stem strongly attenuated towards base. Yellow at apex and red at base. Reticulate at base but becoming covered in scurfy glandulae towards apex. Smell like Scleroderma. Flesh with pink layer just beneath cuticle. Spores 15 x 5um. Terminal cap hyphae definitely without zebra encrustations or platelets, somewhat gelatinized. FM3(3) doesn't key - nearest is persicolor but not that. Not FM9 either - nearest is porosporus. Stem attenuated downward
