Public Note:
in lawn with moss by roadside. Stipe darkening towards base. 2-spored, dextrinoid, with obvious plage. Thin-walled lageniform cheilocystidia 40 x 8.3 at widest and 4um at rounded apex, pleurocystidia absent, pileocystidia absent Spores12 x 7 and fulvous in KOH. Despite me not finding pleurocystidia this has to be be vittaeformis as an introduced species in this modified habitat. Appears to be new to NZ. Reported to MAF 2/07/2010
