Public Note:
pileus viscid, spores 8.3 x 5um thick-walled with germ pore. brown in KOH. Cutcicle a cutis with extra-cellular encrustation. Sub-cutis strongly gelatinized. With pleuro & cheilocystidia. Gill edge pale yellow with cystidia, contrasting chocolate brown surface.Pleurocystidia thick-walled 1.5-2um with apical crust. Smith & Hesler to subgenus flammuloides stirps condensa and nearest bakerensis but that paler. Agrees with multicingulata sensu Soop and Egon ZT0910. P. m. ochraceous to umber, spores 6.5-8x4.5-5, cystidia (c&p) 40-70x10-15 lageniform. P. connisans yellow - ochre, spores 5.8-8.2x3.3-4.5, chrysocystidia 25-56x9-15, cheilocystidia 23-39x5-9, apex subcapitate. The differences seem to be the paler yellow colour of connisans and the sometimes zonate stem on multicingulata.
