On foray table as Paxillus atrotomentosus. Spores 8.3 x 5.8um. Gills (and most tissue!) have oleiferous cystidia? Clamps not discernable but tissue mostly modified. Species not known from NZ. Macroscopically closest to A. nothofagi but that without cystidia.?
