from sandy soil and fasciculately joined in loose hyphal bulb. With copious veilar remnants. Cap not squamulose, cuticle with gelatinized layer(?), clamps, encrusted, not thick walled, not inflated, lacking pleurocystidia, 4-spored, not dextrinoid, no chrysocystidia. Subgenus flavidula or hemipholiota. spores not truncate (sordidae) spore wall with slight thickening around small pore. (diclor), basidia 6um wide, spores 7.5(-8.5) x 4.3, not gummosa/aurantioflava. If flavidula then section curvipes. Nothing in FAN4 or Holec (lucifera closest but spores slightly phaseoliform in side-view). See 9518 for discussion of identification. Lack of squamules and spores size needs reasessing.
