Public Note:
Cap rugulose, viscid (not glutinous?), white rhizoids at base. No chrysocystidia, spores smooth, thick-walled, brown with large pore 11.5 x 7um. Cuticle gelatinised with a separable epithelium (when dried at least), subcuticle of large ellipsoidal cells.20-30um. Can't find pleurocystidia, cheilocystidia large vesiculose. This certainly fits Watling & Taylor. No collections currently in PDD. ITS and LSU near A. rivulosa, with similar cap but a distinct ring which this does not have. GenBank material of rivulosa is from USA and reuires verfification. Sequence are not near the rest of Agrocybe but basal to Psathyrellaceae. This requires a new genus, if correct.
