4-spores dextrinoid 7x3.5um, cheilocystidia vesiculose (gill edge floccose), pleurocystidia sparser but same. Spores of 'boletus' type. Cap hyphae unclamped, partially gelatinised. Differentiated terminal elements few. Cystidia present as cheilo and pleurocystidia. Spores length=6.0–7.4µm (µ=6.7, σ=0.44), width=2.8–3.9µm (µ=3.4, σ=0.35), Q=1.7–2.2µm (µ=1.96, σ=0.16), n=20
