Public Note:
Pinus 3-needled. Stem with few glandulee but mainly smooth, without reddish tinges, long and < 15mm diam and with white tomentum at base. McNabb doesn't really key (granulatus nearest but that with darker cap). Tubes irregular and flesh pink in NH4OH. B&K gives bovinus (but that with grey pores and this yellow). NM2 granulatus. BFF1 granulatuis. Arora granulatus. Obviously a complex of US species here.
