Cap 3-5cm felty, snuff-brown, not cracked. Stem 3.5x1.5cm drab, crimson where damaged, cylindrical to slightly constricted in middle. Pores irregular to 1mm with distinct pore free ring at apex of stem, yellow to umber. Flesh cream becoming green-grey in stem base - but crimson terminally. No smell. Taste mild. Spores 15x5um, cap hyphae with zebra stripes, although less pronounced than concurrent collection. Does seem macro-morphologically distinct from concurrent collection from this site although microscopic details indicate they are the same. This has to be #1 except not so attenuated in stipe
