Public Note:
Massive fruitbody with Pinus radiata and Ilex aquifolium & Cedrus next to Major Richard Baker's Gravestone. Whole fruitbody brown, tomentose, smell strongly earthy, flesh immediately blue-green, stronger to base, elsewhere red-brown slowly. Pores brown at surface, yellow underneath. Stem rugulouse. Taste acidic. Spore deposit is pinkish brown. Spores 9 x 4.5-5um. Singer notes variations in descriptions, including those which blue or not.
