Specimen notes
Public Note:
Spores 7.6-9.4(8.3) x 5.2-6.5(5.6)um ellipsoid - definitely not phaseoliform. Pleuro & cheilocystidia metuloid with to 3-5um thick at apex and with crystals, no difference between the two. A few realtively small intermixed vesiculose cells. Cheilocystidia are yellow in KOH. Caulocystistidia mostly without crystals and thin-walled, but some thick walled and some with crystals. Stem covered with tan fibrils along entire length but caulocystidia at apex only, not white, and cap with recurved scales, with bulbous base, no green colours. If stem all pruinose then umbrosa or destruens if only top. Seems intermediate between destruens and scabriuscula.
