Public Note:
Cap 1.5-2.5cm diam., edge pellucid striate, vinaceous grey. Stem 0.4-4.5cm, slightly bulbous, milky coffee, silky striate, hollow. Smell radish. (c.f. pura but not vinacea). Interveining present, stem hollow. Spores weakly amyloid 8.3 x 5um cylindrical/ellipsoidal with apiculus Q=1.7.Gill trama dextrinoid with darker layer near gill edge. Pleurocystidia broadly ventricose, 17um at widest with some evidence of apical excresences which are amyloid. Caulocystidia vary between same shape as pleurocystidia (vinacea) and lageniform/cylindrical (pura). This is M. vinacea sensu Grgurinovich
