Public Note:
Peristome fimbriate, not delineated, endoperidum sessile, 15mm diam., exoperidium not hygroscopic (although some rays turned up in dried material?), inner surface cracked , striate, nor puberulent, outer surface strongly encrusting debris. Base of endoperidium smooth. Spores with coarse sparse ornamentation, 5-5.9(5.3) SD0.3 n=12.. Capilitial threads pale and smooth, some of smaller elements coiled. Microscopically close to fimbriatum (sensu me) but the inner surface of the endoperdium is very different to other collections. Cunningham to fimbriatum. Leave as this but note that difference.
