Reported to MAF 2/07/2010. large distinctive synnema, conidia violaceous, 3 x 7.5 arranged in verticils. Agar media turns dark red. N. atypicola says Nick Cummins. ITS Near Cyathicula coronata/Hymenoscyphus epiphyllus. On regrowth of culture its clear this is not the original isolate - a contaminant.
