With chrysocystidia. Spores 7.5 x 5.3um with germ pore. Spores way too small for rugoso-annulata/inuncta etc. Spores brown in transmission, purple-brown in print, smooth. Closely related to S. jilinensis from China but without greyish-violet coloured pileus
