17th Fungal Foray of New Zealand. Genbank DQ284904. Collection cited by Dentiger & McLauglin as "Clavulinopsis/Clavaria sulcata"
Public Note:
This has the large fleshy stature of C. sulcata. However the dried material is pale lemon and not the expected salmon colour. It cannot be said for certain this is the real C. sulcata (type Java). Hyphae clamped. Spores globose. If this was yellow then C. novo-zelandica but we know this isn't that because we have LSU for the type. So it is not beyonds the realms of possibility this is C. sulcata, or near.
