with a velipellis, and a swollen base. Spores phaseoliform in side view 6.2-7.2(6.7)x3.8-4.5(4)um. Cheilo and pleurocystidia not distinctly metuloid (but appearing so under DIC). Very little evidence of crystals (although some do). Spore size/shape comparable with spinulifera and intermedia
