Specimen notes
Public Note:
conidia without setulae, aseptate, 11 x 2um, frequently with small knob . Conidiophores unbranched, not proliferating, no seta, to 90um, -9 septa, monophialidic, terminal, indistinct colarette. D. lunulospora too curved and polyphialide, D. clavulata polyphialide. Closest to latter but this with bigger conidiophores, polyphialide and colarette. Nothing fits from Kuthubutheen or Whitton. ITS Close to Chaetosphaeria talbotii.

Public Note:
This material was depleted and no conidiophores or conidia of this species were observed. Only small colonies of Codinaea minuta and Helicosporium sp. were present on the surface of the leaf. Therefore a dried culture PDD 76604 was designated the holotype.
