Note:
This specimen may have originally been recorded as Russual umerensis, not Lactarius umerensis, and may be the material now labelled R. cannanesis and sequenced as such. Pat has another PDD number for this - PDD101760 and also has some material (split?) at home. Important to unravel as it is currently the only specimen of a sp. nov. The material needs looking at to determine of it really is L. umerensis or mislabelled R. cannanesis. [update 6/2014] The material is correctly labelled. The whereabouts of the real PDD101760 unknown. The use of PL 73302 for R. canaanesis is incorrect.
