Distinctive ascospores fusoid with almost appendage like extensions at ends, 23-3 x 3-4 um; asci J-; otherwise the morphology looks much like other fern inhabiting Lachnopsis spp. - undiff para, excip cells short cyl with slightly thick walls, simple hairs roungh all over
