Specimen notes
Public Note:
tissue/spores inamyloid. 2 & 4 spored. basidia hygrophoroid 45 x 7 with large looped basal clamps. PP with trichodermal elements. Clamped. Spores pip-shaped, subglobose 6 x 5, thin-walled, hyaline. CC absent. Pileus cap 4mm on dried material, perhaps 8mm when fresh. On bare soil. Frb with a pinkish hue and no blue. Whilst the micro details are close to C. patinicolor (spores here larger), the stature, colouration and habit all suggest this is the NZ version of Omphalina rivulicola. The single fruitbody is inadequate for DNA sampling.
