Public Note:
Tiny, 0.20.3 mm diam., sessile disc, receptacle pale brown, very long, fine hairs; asci 18-25 x 5-6.5, apex slightly thickened, J-; ascospores 4.5-5.5 x 2 µm, oblong-elliptic to cylindric, broadly rounded both ends, more or less symmetrical, 0-septate, hyaline. Receptacle of more or less globose cells with slightly darkened, thin walls, nongelatinous. Hairs of two sort; one long, straight, tapering to apex with thick walls; the other short, tapering suddenly from base, curved at apex, thin-walled. D. australis originally decribed from Eucalyptus bark, but from a single specimen.
