Public Note:
sensu stricto M. avenacea is considered to be a nom. dub. or possibly M. viridi/citrinomarginata. This material has cylindrical cheilos with no extensions, occasional pleurocystidia and numerous hair-like caulocystidia and inflated cells, and cap with extensions in gelatinised matrix. Somewhere near leptocephala and barracouta. No sign of coloured gill edge (but fades anyway). Cap larger cells with pale brown plasmatic content. This tending towards violin shape cystidia reported for subfragillima, but without extensions. 4-spored length=6.9–8.3µm (µ=7.7, σ=0.40), width=3.9–5.2µm (µ=4.5, σ=0.38), Q=1.4–1.9µm (µ=1.69, σ=0.11), n=20
