Disc pale orange when dry (loses colour in KOH), sub-urceolate with margins of cup rolling in across hymenium. Hairs cyl, undiff. to apex, wall rough all over. Exvip cells short-cyl to more or less square, more or less thin-walled. Asci ca 40 x 5 µ, no croziers. Paraphyses lanceolate. Spores 7.5-11 x 1.5-2.5 µm (avge 9.6 x 1.9 µm), cylindric, straight, tapering to rounded ends, sometimes more or le4ss swollen near centre, 0-septate
