Specimen notes
Public Note:
Leaf spot, several discrete perithecia clustered in circular groups about 5 mm across. Asci bitunicate, ascospores large, broad-elliptic with broadly rounded ends, about 16-19 x 10-12 µm, 0-septate hyaline, turning brown within the ascus. No conidial state observed. ITS sequence confims as Guignardia rather than Botryosphaeria.
