micromorphologically similar to L. pteridophyllum, but with reddish/brownish crystals on hairs - perhaps matches PDD 111224 etc, phylogentically sister to pteridophyllum. Spores 15-19 x 2 um

Reexaminatioin showed that most (?all) the apothecia have yellow crystals, making the morphology fit L. pteridophyllum sensu PRJ 2022
