Public Note:
Distinguished from the Carex-inhabiting L. nitidum because of lack of obvious lip cells, narrower ascomata, paraphyses slightly and irreg swollen and tangled at apex, less well-developed lower wall, broader asci (11-12 um) that taper more suddenly to the apex, and wider ascospores (70-75 x 2-2.5 um)
