Public Note:
McNabb appears to have been following Cleland's misapplication of Australian collections, which is now Hohenbuehelia clelandii. This material is certainly a Hohenbuehelia and not a Pleurotus (has mutuloid cystidia). Given the current taxonomic uncertainty regarding NZ Hohenbuehelia this must remain unidentified to species.
