PILEUS: water soaked greyish magenta, 6.5 cm diam. GILLS: pallid creamy white. STIPE: pallid greyish magenta, 3.5cm long, 1.4cm diam. CHEMICAL CHARACTERS: Formalin n.r, Phenol - slowly deep vinaceous, FeSO4 - imemdiately salmon pink; guaicol - n.r., KOH on pileus - bleaching leaving area brick-red; on context - n.r.
