Public Note:
PILEUS: 4.5cm diam.,centrally depressed, now dull olive green with faint magenta-orange patches in centre, margin rather areolately creviced and showing the white context. GILLS; crowded, simple, creamy yellow, nargins not marked, to 5mm deep. STIPE: rose tinted over a white background , more or less equal, to 4.5 cm long,1-1.2cm diam., solid; flesh white. CONTEXT OF PILEUS: white with faint yellowish tints. CHEMICAL CHARACTERS:Formalin - n.r. Phenol- not recorded, FeSO4-immediately slamon pink; guaiacol-n.r. KOH on pileus - bleaching leaving area brick-red; on context-n.r. NH4OH on pileus-intensifies green colour, on context-n.r. HABITAT: solitary under Nothofagus fusca & N. menziesii, nelson, lake Daniels Track, 15.5.1969, Coll. R.F.R. McNabb
