Culture NZ-IO-289. Spores ellipsoid, 4-5 x 2.5-3 um. It has broader spores than S. microsporum, too ellipsoid for S. farinaceum. The basidioma is too thin for S. aff. Otagense, and the hyphae are narrower. Photo taken
