Small disc (0.4 mm diam.) with long, narrow stipe, stipe with few or no hairs, receptacle densely covered with somewhat tangled, white to pale yellow hairs. Hairs <100 µm long, rough all over, (in water, no crystals, yellowish vacuolar pigment). Excip cells short-cyl to more or less square, thin walled. Para undiff, apex rounded, 2-2.5 µm diam. Ascospores radially symm., straight, fusoid, ends acute, 1-septate, 16.5-21.5 x 3-4 µm (avge 19.3 x 3.6 µm). Asci J+
