9-19 mm across. Dry, mustard yellow with distinctly striate margin, paler yellow than center of disk. Hygrophanous. Flesh: Pale mustard yellow Lamellae: Mustard yellow when young, to yellow-brown Cortina colour: Orange yellow Stipe: 25-37 x 2-5 mm, equal, yellow, dry, with distinct annular spore deposit and yellow-veil remants on lower part of stipe.
