Public Note:
17-62 mm across. Olive, yellow-green and citrine tones. Sometimes very dark green-brown centre of disc, lighter yellow-green margins. Younger specimens more vivid yellow margins and dark olive center. Glabrous, moist and tacky not viscid or glutinous. Flesh: Citrine yellow to olive yellow. Darker olive near base. Lamellae: Citron yellow when young to warm yellow-orange in age Cortina colour: Pale yellow cortina. Stipe: 36-70 x 6-11 mm, broadly clavate (longer bulb), smooth, yellow. KOH on flesh brilliant blood red.
