Surface with tiny fine golden fibrils accumulated into fine tufts."Peridium" 1 mm thick.
No odor. No taste, no KOH rxn. No bruising or staining reactions. Partially hidden under Nothofagus leaf litter.
Fruitbody 50 mm tall x 32 mm wide, base of columella enlarged to 21 mm wide.
Columella percurrent, 5 mm wide at midpoint.
